These companies hope to streamline recruitment and fill vacancies more efficiently, saving time and resources overall.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Recruitment impacted by tighter budgets\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cost-conscious hiring strategies are being implemented across the country in a bid to minimise spending amid the cost-of-living crisis. With <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.peninsulagrouplimited.com\/resource-hub\/business-advice\/global-survey-reveals-uk-employers-are-worried-about-rising-costs-in-2024\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">87.6% of UK companies<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> citing \u2018rising costs\u2019 as one of their primary concerns for 2024, and given that hiring is one of the most expensive processes within HR, it\u2019s no wonder why.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At <a href=\"https:\/\/factorialhr.co.uk\/\">Factorial<\/a>, we found that sourcing and recruiting one team member takes our recruiter an average of 34 days, 40 hours of which are spent reviewing CVs. What\u2019s more, it costs the company \u20ac4000.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is a sum that most companies can\u2019t currently afford to lose, which is driving the search for tools and action plans that can minimise this figure.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Why is HR tech the exception?\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hiring teams are reducing overall spending, apart from in one area: HR tech. Tools such as <a href=\"https:\/\/factorialhr.co.uk\/applicant-tracking-system\">Applicant Tracking Systems<\/a> are viewed as an investment that, despite their upfront cost, actually <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">cut<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> costs in the long run.\u00a0 Here are a few ways they\u2019re able to do so.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>1.
