HR teams in hotels play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring the seamless functioning of operations, and setting employees up to deliver unparalleled guest experiences. 

Yet, talent management within the fast-paced hospitality sector is not always easy. As a result of Brexit and the “Great Resignation”, hotels are struggling more than ever to attract skilled workers - and to keep them there. A shortage of experienced candidates means the need for training and implementing a solid leadership pipeline presents even more challenges.  

In this report, we present research from the HR and hospitality worlds to explore the challenges faced by the industry - specifically hotels - and how HR teams can overcome them by implementing forward-thinking strategies and utilising digital tools.
