Hello, I'm Jordi Romero, founder and CEO at Factorial, and here are 10 of my learnings. Surround yourself with people who care.
Most people just don't care. Talent is simplifying complex problems.
Avoid people that find complexity everywhere.Do the math and teach people how to do the math.
Many times, numbers don't add up, and it's important to make sure that they do.
Don't take anything for granted. Question, challenge, and make sure you find the truth. Always let people make mistakes. Experiment, try things.
Just avoid at all costs people breaking or changing the culture.
Don't buy food when you're hungry, which means don't hire out of desperation.
Wait for as long as it takes until you find the right person.
Give more to people that want more.Wanting and being willing to is a very valuable currency.
Celebrate, appreciate, say thank you, have fun. We're all humans. Take care of yourself. Take care of your family.
Take care of your friends and your community. If you're not enjoying the ride, it's not worth it, so change things until you do.
We tend to overestimate what we can do in a year and underestimate what we can do in a decade. Play the long game. Oh,
it's done?
